About Noor
Noor is an Iraqi-Canadian trauma-informed breathwork facilitator trained in MDMA-assisted therapy. She is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, harm reduction, and psychedelic therapy among marginalized communities. As the Co-Founder of the Arab Psychedelic Society, she is committed to bridging the gap between Arab communities and psychedelics through culturally sensitive education, research, community support, and therapeutic interventions.
Noor’s journey was deeply influenced by her own mental and physical health challenges, having to come to terms with the impact of a dysregulated and sensitive nervous system. After conventional treatments proved ineffective, she turned to holistic modalities and discovered the transformative power of breathwork and psychedelics. These practices improved her well-being and motivated her to share these valuable tools with others and advocate for their integration into her communities. Noor is driven by a profound desire to unite the fields of therapy, breathwork, and psychedelics, aiming to create a holistic and synergistic approach that integrates these healing practices.
